Privacy policy

There are no accounts on this site, no logins and no forms that collect your details. That makes this policy unusually short, and the short version is the honest one: we hold almost nothing about you.

What we collect

Nothing you type. The site has no registration, no account area, no comment section and no data-collecting contact form. If you email us, we hold that email in order to reply to it, and nothing more.
Standard server records. Our hosting provider logs technical requests — IP address, time, page requested, browser and referrer — as any web server does, for security and to keep the site running.
Two browser preferences. Your cookie choice and whether the age strip is expanded, stored locally in your own browser. They never leave your device and are described on the cookie policy page.

What we don't do

We do not sell, rent or trade personal data. There is nothing to sell.
We set no advertising cookies of our own and run no profiling or behavioural targeting.
We do not build reader profiles, and cannot see anything about your activity at an operator's site.
We do not knowingly collect anything from anyone under 18, who should not be using the site at all.

Operators you visit

Following a commercial link takes you to a third party with its own privacy policy, its own cookies and, if you register, its own record of you. Affiliate tracking identifies which site referred a visit; it does not tell us who you are, what you played or what you deposited. Once you are on an operator's site, that operator is the data controller and its policy is the one that applies.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask what personal data we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected or erased, object to its use, or complain to the Information Commissioner's Office. In practice, unless you have emailed us there is unlikely to be anything to hand over. Requests go to editorial@uktablecompare.com and we will respond within the statutory period.

Retention, in one line each

Emails: kept while the correspondence is live and a reasonable period afterwards, then deleted.
Server logs: kept by the hosting provider for a short technical retention period.
Browser preferences: kept until you clear your browser storage.

If this policy changes, the date at the top of the page changes with it. Material changes will be described in the text rather than slipped in silently.
