Corrections: how to report an error
Casino sites change constantly, which means a comparison is always at risk of going stale between checks. If something here is wrong, we would rather hear it from you than leave it standing until the next cycle.
What is worth reporting
- A licence detail that no longer matches the Gambling Commission register, including a licensed domain.
- A description that has stopped being true — a live-casino section that has closed, a catalogue that has changed shape.
- A welcome offer described as the wrong type.
- A score that no longer reflects the site, with a note on what has changed.
- A broken link, a link that goes somewhere other than its label says, or anything on the site that reads as promotional rather than factual.
How to send it
Email editorial@uktablecompare.com with "Correction" in the subject. Include the page, the operator if it applies, what is wrong, and where we can verify the right answer — the operator's own page, its terms, or the register entry. Please don't send account details, documents or anything sensitive; we have no use for them and no way to act on them.
What happens next
-
We check it against the source
The register for licence questions, the operator's live site for everything else. Your word is the prompt; the source is the evidence.
-
The page is updated
Factual errors are fixed as soon as they are confirmed. Where a score moves, the reasoning in the write-up moves with it.
-
The change is dated
The "last checked" line on the affected card or the "last updated" date on the page is reset, so it is clear the page has been revisited.
What we won't do
We won't quietly delete an unflattering assessment because an operator objects to it. Judgements are open to challenge with evidence — a live-casino section that has been expanded, for example — but a request to remove a fair description on its own is not a correction. We also don't run an invented complaints process with fictional reference numbers and target times: this is an email address, read by the people who write the site.
Not a correction, but important
- Problems with your account, balance or bonus belong with the operator — we hold nothing and can access nothing.
- Unresolved disputes go to the operator's approved ADR provider, free of charge.
- If gambling is the problem rather than the website, the National Gambling Helpline is free on 0808 8020 133.
