UK Table Compare Independent casino comparison
About the site

An independent comparison desk, not a casino

UK Table Compare exists to answer one question properly: of the UK-licensed casinos worth listing, which one suits the way you actually play? Everything else on the site — the criteria, the scores, the licence data — is in service of that.

What the name means

The table in UK Table Compare is the comparison table: one row per operator, the same eight columns for each, published in full. We cover online casino play — slots, live-dealer rooms and the classic table games such as roulette, blackjack and baccarat — for readers in the United Kingdom.

What we don't cover, in case the name suggests otherwise: sports betting odds, tipping, predictions and anything resembling a system for beating a game. If you arrived looking for those, this is the wrong site, and we'd rather say so on the first screen than waste your afternoon.

What we do

Each operator is read against fixed criteria, in the same order, with game range and live tables weighted most heavily. Licence status is checked against the Gambling Commission's public register before anything else happens; a site without a current licence for the games we describe does not appear, whatever it might be willing to pay.

The write-ups aim to be useful rather than flattering. Where a lobby is thin we say it is thin, and where a site is small we describe who that suits instead of pretending the difference doesn't exist. Our editorial policy sets out the sources, the scoring weights and the re-check cycle.

How the site works, in three steps

  1. Licence first

The register decides who is eligible. Every card links to it so the check is yours to repeat, not ours to assert.

  2. Then the games

Slot depth, studio spread, the live-dealer floor and how the lobby behaves on a phone — the criteria that separate one licensed site from another.

  3. Then the write-up

A score out of ten, the reasoning beside it, and the date we last looked. When a site changes, the row changes.

What this site never does

  • It does not run games, hold stakes or operate any form of gambling.
  • It does not open accounts, take deposits, pay winnings or handle money in any direction.
  • It is not a regulator, an agent of one, or connected to the Gambling Commission or any government body.
  • It is not owned by, or speaking for, any operator listed on it.
  • It does not take part in any bet, game or transaction you enter into with an operator.

How it pays for itself

Affiliate commission. When a reader follows one of our outbound buttons and opens an account, the operator may pay us — usually for the registration, sometimes for the click. That arrangement funds the site, and it is exactly why the criteria and the methodology are published before the cards rather than buried behind them. Commission rates are not part of the scoring, and no operator has sight of a review before it goes live. The affiliate disclosure spells out the detail.

Who writes it

Material is produced by the site's own editorial desk and published under the site's name. We don't invent bylines, staff photographs or a masthead of people who don't exist, and we don't publish user testimonials or review counts we cannot evidence. If something here is wrong, the fastest route to fixing it is the corrections page.

Questions, corrections or a licence detail we've missed

Write to editorial@uktablecompare.com. We can't help with operator accounts, balances or bonuses — those belong to the operator — but anything about the comparison itself lands in the right inbox. More on what to send.
