Affiliate disclosure: how this site earns money

UK Table Compare is free to read because operators pay for the traffic it sends. That is worth stating in full rather than in a footnote, because you cannot judge a comparison site without knowing how it is paid.

What the arrangement is

We hold affiliate agreements with operators or with the networks that represent them. When you follow one of our outbound buttons and go on to register an account, the operator may pay us a commission — most often a one-off amount for the registration, sometimes a payment for the click itself, occasionally a share of the operator's revenue from that account over time.

You are never charged anything for using this site, and no operator pays you through us. Your account, your stakes and any winnings are entirely between you and the operator: we are not a party to any bet, deposit, withdrawal or contract you enter into, and we cannot act on your account in any way.

The short version

  • Commercial links are the buttons labelled "Visit" followed by the operator's own domain.
  • Every one of them carries the rel="sponsored" marking that search engines and browsers use to identify paid links.
  • The destination is always the operator's real site — no redirect chains through unrelated domains.
  • Nothing is hidden from any visitor: the same table, the same cards and the same links are served to everyone.

Where commercial relationships could influence what you see

Honesty here is more useful than a blanket denial. Two effects are real and worth naming.

  • Which operators appear at all. An operator we have no commercial route to is less likely to be added, simply because there is no mechanism to fund the work. Every operator listed must still hold a current UK Gambling Commission licence for the games described.
  • How prominently a commercial link is presented. Buttons exist because the site is funded by them, and they are designed to be found.

Two things commission does not affect, and we would put the site's name behind this: the scores and the written assessments. The criteria and weights are fixed in advance and published in the editorial policy, they are applied identically to every operator, and no operator sees a review before it is live or has any right of veto over it. If an operator asked us to raise a score, the answer would be no and the table would carry on as it is.

Offers, and how we describe them

Welcome offers are stated as a type rather than a promise: "deposit match with free spins attached" rather than a headline figure we cannot guarantee is still current. Amounts, wagering requirements, expiry dates and eligibility are set by the operator and change without warning, so the operator's own terms are the only version that counts. You will not find "risk-free", "guaranteed" or "free money" language here, because none of those things exists in gambling.

Advertising standards, in practice

Every commercial link on this site is marked as an advertisement and carries an 18+ notice. We do not target under-18s, do not present gambling as a way to solve money problems, do not imply that skill or timing beats a random number generator, and do not use urgency or scarcity to push a signup. If you spot something on the site that falls short of that, the corrections page is the fastest route to having it changed.

18+ only. UK Table Compare is an independent commercial comparison service, not a gambling operator, not a regulator and not connected to the Gambling Commission or any government body. It handles no money, holds no customer funds and processes no deposits or withdrawals. Gambling can be addictive and is not a way to make money.
